Hello. I’m Max Ryoo and I am a recent graduate from the University of Virginia where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science & Statistics (Biostatistics Concentration) (Class of 2020). I decided to continue my studies and am pursuing a Masters of Data Science at University of Virginia starting in August 2021.
I also like to research in the areas of Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Quantitative Methods. I have done a couple of research projects, which you can check out in the blog section! I also like to research the mechanisms behind different models and like to experiment with the area of model analysis using different models and machine learning techniques.
I was born in Busan, South Korea, but am currently living in Northern Virginia. I’ve lived a good portion of my life in both countries so I’m fluent in Korean and English. In my free time I like to play guitar / learn music.
